Alisa's creative work is focused in several arenas, comprising creative direction, design, identity, advertising and photographic direction for international consumer magazines, global brands, and television networks in both the US and Europe.
She began her work as a designer in Paris at the creative agency Éditorial (at the daily Libération), mentored by Claude Maggiori and Marc Belli. In New York, she art directed for economic think tanks, book publishers, artists, magazines, and cultural institutions for nearly a decade before returning to Europe. In Munich, Alisa's focus shifted to photo and video production, creative direction and executive production in the film, commercial, broadcast and editorial arenas.
Alisa has taught design and technology as adjunct professor at Parsons Open Campus, The New School in New York for over two decades, by invitation. She taught for seven years in the traditional on-site lecture format at the university before going fully online with her courses in 2001 for The New School, at the dawn of online degree programs at the university. In the spring of 2020, Alisa developed a complete online degree program for Parsons/the New School in the arena of Motion Design and Animation. She designed and produced the core course in this program, as well as other master classes for the university in digital design.
Alisa speaks fully fluent French and German, solid Spanish, and is a native English speaker.
